To brighten up a chilly March day and to celebrate the start of Spring, I thought I’d share some photos from Alba’s Christening in July last year. In honour of our little flower we chose a floral theme, using contrasting Liberty Prints for the invitations and flowers wherever possible. I’ve always loved Liberty Print, there’s something timeless and classic about them in children’s rooms and on little girl’s party dresses.
The super talented Lila hair accessories made a beautiful blush pink circlet for Alba, featuring delicate clay Alba roses of course. The ruffle cake included a tier from our wedding cake and was topped with pink peonies and the favour for guests was a little potted pansy with the message ‘Thank you for helping me grow’.
